Sharon Heberle, RN, Retires

The surgery department held a retirement reception (August 31, 2013) for Sharon Heberle, RN. There were gifts from her co-workers, cake, and the hospital gave her a $50 gift certificate to “Vintage Restaurant”.
Sharon began her nursing career at Cardinal Glennon in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Her time there was from 1990 to 2000. Her next move was to get closer to home. Gasconade-Osage Health Department became her employer from 2000-2004.
Sharon always wanted to work at Hermann Area District Hospital in the surgery department. On October 4, 2004, her dream happened, she was hired at HADH. Sharon spoke of her gratitude to Hermann Hospital. “I am so thankful for getting the opportunity to work at the hospital and in the surgery department. I was able to give my patient’s that personal touch, making their time with us a good experience with the care they received. Working in the community also meant so much to me and caring for our patients. Thank you, thank you.” Sharon, enjoy your retirement!
