Article Date: April 30, 2013
Gayle Horn retired from Hermann Area District Hospital on April 30th after 23 years of service. In honor of Gayle’s retirement there was a carry in lunch with a cake. She was given a Kindle Fire HD by the hospital. Her husband William and daughter Tracy Rein and grandson Malachi Rein attended the event. When Gayle started at the hospital she worked in the dietary department, later transferring to Admissions and finally her current position is in the Accounts Payable department. “I truly enjoyed working in the office with accounts payables; there were a lot of great people that I worked with throughout my years here at HADH.” Said Gayle. Gayle was also honored with receiving Employee of 1st Quarter (January, February, March) by the Employee Appreciation Committee of Hermann Area District Hospital. She was presented with a certificate of recognition, corsage, and a $50 gift certificate to The Cottage Restaurant. Gayle is a soft spoken, kind and compassionate person, who considers other peoples feeling in all her dealings here at HADH. We wish her well in her retirement and are glad she was on the HADH team.
