The Hilmer Glatz Trust has purchased a Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab Management System for Hermann Area District Hospital.  It is an automated system that is wireless and functions as an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).  “This system will improve patients care by being able to spend more time with the patient and less time doing paperwork”, states Sandra Hingst, RN.

The system also allows for wireless monitoring of the patients while they go through their exercise session.  It also is able to generate summary reports and trends that are able to be sent to the referring physician.  Shown in the photo are Maxine Witte and Sandra Hingst, RN.  Mrs. Witte has the small lightweight transmitter in her shirt pocket.
